Paris, La Défense – 07 February 2023 – In cooperation with its partner AVEM, Worldline (Euronext: WLN), a global leader in payments services, successfully implemented an updated ATM fleet roll-out for Groupe Les Mousquetaires (GLM), a key European player in the mass distribution market. GLM now benefits from bolstered operational flexibility, with Worldline’s modular ATM management solutions designed to reduce risks and improve profitability. This milestone reinforces Worldline’s key position within the French ATM market.
The implementation involved the migration of more than 700 ATMs as part of a one-year project. In partnership with AVEM, which handles the maintenance support of the ATM fleet, Worldline completed deployment and implementation in an exceptionally short time-to-market. The technical ATM migration was completed within just two months and is fully in line with the latest regulations.
GLM is one of the first French retailers to upgrade its entire ATM fleet. They needed a prime contractor to manage the migration and ATM updates, maintenance, monitoring and processing, allowing them to focus on added value to their customers. As a global payment leader with an extensive portfolio of industry-leading products and services, Worldline holds a key position in the ATM management market, working in close cooperation with a number of expert partners such as AVEM, widening the scope and level of its support for customers.
